West Coast semifinal: No. 1 Gonzaga vs. No. 4 Oregon State, 9 (ESPN)
The Zags (28-3) begin their final WCC tournament with a chance to remove the last potential bid-snatcher from the event. Oregon State (17-15) is only making the field of 68 with two more victories in Las Vegas.
West Coast semifinal: No. 2 Saint Mary’s vs. No. 3 Santa Clara, approx. 11:30 (ESPN2)
Santa Clara (25-7) handled the mandatory portion of its conference tournament assignment Sunday night, fending off Pacific 76-68. A loss to Saint Mary’s (27-4) would not be disqualifying for the Broncos, but a victory would go a long way to cementing an already solid profile.
One-Bid League Notables
Southern final: No. 1 East Tennessee State vs. No. 6 Furman, 7 (ESPN)
The Buccaneers (23-10) erased a 17-point deficit in Sunday’s semifinal against Western Carolina, keeping alive their hope of playing in an NCAA tournament for the first time since 2017. East Tennessee State would probably be a No. 14 seed, though enough upsets could get it up to the No. 13 line. Furman (21-12) would be in line for a No. 15 seed if it pulls off the upset.
Sun Belt final: No. 1 Troy vs. No. 10 Georgia Southern, 7 (ESPN2)
Thanks to the Sun Belt’s seven-day kraken bracket, the Trojans (21-11) need only get through the No. 8 seed (Southern Mississippi) and the No. 10 seed to win the league tournament. Georgia Southern (21-15) will play its sixth game in as many days after toppling second-seeded Marshall 82-78 on Sunday.
Horizon League semifinal: No. 1 Wright State vs. No. 7 Northern Kentucky, 7 (ESPNU)
The Raiders (21-11) just beat Northern Kentucky (20-13) by a point nine days ago to close the regular season, so it’s hardly a gimme for the Horizon’s top seed to make it to the title game.
Coastal semifinal: No. 3 Hofstra vs. No. 7 Towson, approx. 8:30 (CBS Sports Network)
The top two seeds both failed to reach the semifinals for the first time in CAA history, which stretches back to 1983. That leaves the Pride (22-10), winners of nine of its last 10, as the top remaining seed. Towson (19-14) was the league’s preseason favorite, struggled for much of conference play, but has won a season-high five in a row after blasting second-seeded College of Charleston by 25 on Sunday.
